Holly - Mae Gibson

Holly-Mae’s career began with a Commissioning Apprenticeship at ITV, before establishing herself as a freelance script reader for acclaimed production companies including Tall Story Pictures and Red Planet Pictures. She went on to gain invaluable production experience on high-profile series such as Britannia (Sky/Vertigo) and Murder in Provence (ITV/Monumental), before moving into development consultancy and script editing with female-led company Untamed Stories and the prestigious The Writers Lab Europe.

Most recently, as Development Editor at Emmy award-winning Big Light Productions, Holly-Mae managed international writers’ rooms, led research-driven development, and played a key role in securing commissions through IP scouting and creative collaboration. Her slate spanned titles for HBO, BBC, Sky, Apple TV, and Legendary.

Now as Head of Scripted Development at 52 Stone Film Ltd, Holly-Mae brings a decade of industry experience, a sharp eye for story, and a proven talent for nurturing writers and ideas. She will oversee the company’s scripted slate, from sourcing distinctive IP to shaping bold, imaginative projects with international appeal.
